Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own terrazo style Jesmonite coasters that are taking over interior design feeds? Jesmonite is a versatile material, made from cement, water and a water-based resin that will create a different effect each and every time. Create your own Jesmonite coasters at home with a terrazo style effect.
You will learn what the correct measurement of each component is, how to weigh it, mix it, add colours and textural effects to create one of a kind unique Jesmonite coasters. Your kit includes pre-dyed chips, all the Jesmonite compoents, mixing cups and sticks, sand paper, wax sealant and little furniture protective pads for the coasters too. You get to choose the colour for the base of the coaster (choose between red, yellow, green, blue, black or white).
Alternatively they make the best gifts (if you're feeling generous). You will be able to make an impressive FOUR coasters (you make two with us in the workshop) AND not only that, we're giving you the specially handmade moulds so your new found skill and hobby can see you through many more Jesmonite creations!

Everything you need is provided for you in your special kit and sent to you by post - why not even gift a friend a kit and meet him / her online and craft over Zoom and a cup of tea (tea bag included of course!). You will just need a big smile and some kitchen scales.

Our beginner’s workshop in modern calligraphy is a one-off calligraphy course that will teach you everything you need to know starting right at the basics. This course is designed to equip you with the fundamentals needed to create stunning lettering.
You will learn about the tools of calligraphy and technique, learning how to write each calligraphy letter. This is also perfect for brides to be wanting to use calligraphy on their wedding stationery or just anyone wanting to learn to write beautifully.
If you are left handed this is no problem, just let us know in the "order notes" so we can provide you with a different pen to hold the nib.

After over two and a half hours of knitting and knattering, you'll feel like a pro; you’ll have learned all the basics including knit and purl stitch, how to cast on and cast off, stocking stitch and garter stitch. Keep your new-found skills topped up at home using your take away kit of knitting needles, yarn and a 'how to' guide.
